Sailing Into the Perfect Storm

from The Beauty of Infinite Sadness by A Cult of Lies

/

about

Music by one of Anderhill's alter-egos, "A Cult of Lies," has slowly been morphing into something deeper and darker than it was originally. The first two albums from A Cult of Lies were dark, but not as thick and drone based as newer compositions.

This track was created using a combination of synthesizer and voice samples with added samples of short-wave radio static with one audible phrase, "What are you doing here?"

The track is mixed and remixed with heavy amounts of delay and reverb to get the desired effect. This is the new direction in the sound of "A Cult of Lies." To learn more about Anderhill, The OWG, and A Cult of Lies, go to www.danstevenerickson.com.
