When I die, bury me in a lonely place, far away from the chaos of the city, and the noise of the living. Find me a place where the visitors will be few and far between, just an occasional loved one, or a wandering dog. When I die, bury me in a lonely place, where the eye can see for miles, and nothing is all that’s seen. Worry not about the seasons, let my ashes freeze in the winter, let the wind scatter me forever. When I die bury me in a lonely place, where wildflowers grow, their scent attracting butterflies. Let them flutter around my essence, while wandering dogs roam, pissing where they please, pissing where they please.

about

This is my second effort at working under the alias of “A Cult of Lies.” In this project I’ve mixed a variety of dark and ambient sounds with manipulated samples from an old 1980’s “GB-2 Kawai Session Trainer” drum machine played through a Fender Pro Junior tube amp.

Unlike “A Cult of Lie’s” first release, “He called himself Michael the Archangel but he was born to destroy,” the tracks on the second album have no common theme and were titled individually after being created, giving the album more of a random feel. However, I think the old drum machine I found for free in a used music store nicely ties these nine tracks together.
